Pigment and skin treatments

Artisan Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery offers PicoSure Pro, a picosecond laser system designed for pigment and skin treatments.

PicoSure Pro is an updated version of PicoSure, with improved performance and shorter recovery time compared with earlier models.

As a 755nm picosecond laser, PicoSure Pro is a FDA-approved picosecond laser treatment for conditions like melasma, Hori’s Macules, and Nevus of Ota. It offers skin revitalisation and depigmentation with significantly less pain and downtime than its predecessors.

what is picosure pro

PicoSure Pro stimulates your skin to heal naturally, producing new collagen and elastin almost immediately after treatment.

The PicoSure Pro laser photothermally targets the melanin chromophore, instead of water. This allows for the protection of surrounding tissues in the skin, and further lowers the risk of adverse side effects common with other laser treatments.

This FDA-cleared technology also utilises photo acoustic techniques to lighten and disperse unwanted pigment in the skin.

PicoSure Pro effectively treats a wide range of conditions, such as melasma and Hori’s Macules, in fewer sessions, with less discomfort, and higher efficacy.

The PicoSure Pro Difference

PicoSure Pro offers assuring versatility with its 755nm wavelength, customisable pulse durations, spot sizes, fluency, and repetition rate.

And while its flat optic lens can efficiently target pigmented lesions, the Focus lens and new Platinum Focus lens help to improve skin texture and tone, enhancing one’s overall results.

PicoSure Pro with Dr Andrew Cheah

With Dr Andrew's approach to PicoSure Pro treatments, each session is carefully tailored to the individual's skin type and condition, ensuring optimal results with minimal discomfort. By precisely targeting melanin in the skin while leaving surrounding tissue unaffected, the treatment effectively reduces pigmentation, evens skin tone, and stimulates natural collagen and elastin production — all with significantly less downtime compared to traditional laser treatments.

All surgical procedures have some degree of risk. The procedure should be carried in a safe environment and in an accredited clinic. Minor complications that do not affect the outcome could occur occasionally. Major complications are rare.
